If you do not own a well fitting gunbelt, stand in relaxed manner and if you are wearing a trouser belt, remove it. Take a measuring tape and measure around your waist over your trouser belt loops. This is your waist measurement. Now drop the tape approximately 2 1/2" below your waist and measure around your hip area. This is your hip measurement.
